The rule
On live 2-Step accounts, every position must remain open for at least three (3) full minutes before you close it, partially close it, or modify it in a way that effectively exits exposure.
Zero tolerance
The first violation fails the account. There is no warning or second chance on the minimum hold rule.
What counts
- Measured from order open to close on broker server clock
- Applies per position — scalping under 3 minutes on any ticket is prohibited
- Partial closes that reduce exposure before 3 minutes count as a violation
- Does not apply during Phase 1 or Phase 2 evaluation
